An event that occurs on the solar eclipse of every 1000years, manifesting itself as a giant eye taking over half of the Moon's surface, staring down at Earth for seconds before fading away for another thousand years.

The event is often believed to be superstition by later generations, and those who would still believe in it are seized by the World Government for "promoting rebel ideology" since the event is associated with the Green Dweller's prophecy that states the existence of Rym 9000 on the Moon.
この現象は後の世代に迷信としてよく信じられ、月に Rym 9000が存在するというGreen Dwellerの 預言と結びつくことから、未だなお信じている人々は”反逆思想を助長する”という理由でWorld Governmentに 捕らえられている。
The first and second Moon Brinks to have ever occurred were followed by Volts coming out of the giant eye, causing the mass extermination of humans later known as the 1st Encounter and the 2nd Encounter. In both instances the Volts landed on Earth's surface 24 hours after the Moon Blink.

To this day, the phenomenon occurred 5 times after the 2nd Encounter, and none of them had any aftermath; the giant eye would appear then disappear in a matter of seconds.
